At investment, its fleet consists of 37 jackup rigs and one swamp barge operating in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India, West Africa, and the Mediterranean. Its team, with decades of experience, seeks to provide the safest and the most reliable fit-for-purpose jackup drilling services to build long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with its customers, suppliers, and investors. The company was formed from a carve-out transaction of assets and operations from Transocean Ltd. in November 2012. Lime Rock Partners exited its investment in Shelf Drilling in October 2023.
