Formed in 2009, PDC Mountaineer was an Appalachia-focused joint venture between PDC Energy and Lime Rock Partners to explore and develop prospects in the Marcellus Shale and to operate existing producing gas properties in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. PDC Mountaineer was acquired by Mountaineer Keystone in 2014.
