Founded in 2013, Battlecat Oil & Gas was a start-up E&P company pursuing an acquisition and development strategy targeting opportunities in South Texas. It is led by Mark Semmelbeck, Ph.D. and Kurt von Plonski who both have over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. A publicly-traded small cap E&P company acquired Battlecat in 2017.
