Lime Rock Announces the Promotion of Kris Agarwal to Managing Director
1/25/2013WESTPORT, Conn., January 25, 2013 — Lime Rock, a private equity firm focused on the global energy sector, today announces the naming of Kris Agarwal, already General Counsel of the firm, as a Managing Director. Mr. Agarwal joined Lime Rock as its Assistant General Counsel in 2008 and became General Counsel in 2011. Mr. Agarwal will continue to have senior responsibility for the legal aspects of the fund management, portfolio company negotiation and structuring, and global regulatory compliance efforts of both the Lime Rock Partners and Lime Rock Resources strategies.

Before joining Lime Rock in 2008, Mr. Agarwal worked at Vinson & Elkins LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, and Flom LLP where he focused on corporate and transactional matters, including cross-border transactions and representation of private equity firms and public companies in connection with public and private acquisitions, divestitures, and investment transactions. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B.B.A, MBA) and Southern Methodist University (J.D.).
