Townes Pressler joined Lime Rock as a Managing Director of the Lime Rock Partners team in 2007. Prior to joining the team, he had over 20 years of experience as an energy entrepreneur and as a strategic adviser to energy companies while at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Credit Suisse, and Harrison Lovegrove & Co. After ten years as an energy banker, Mr. Pressler joined DLJ in 1996 and eventually, after the acquisition of DLJ by Credit Suisse, became a Managing Director of Credit Suisse’s global energy group. Mr. Pressler took that senior advisory experience to Harrison Lovegrove where he established the international firm’s U.S. presence. In 2004, he co-founded Peregrine Oil & Gas LP, a successful private equity-backed independent oil and gas producer focused on the Gulf of Mexico. He is a graduate of Washington & Lee University (B.A.) and the University of Texas (M.B.A).

Since joining the Lime Rock Partners team, Mr. Pressler has played the lead role in investigating and executing energy service and E&P opportunities in North America and internationally. Based in Houston, Mr. Pressler currently serves on the board of directors of Black Shire Energy, Braden Exploration, Lafayette Workboat Holdings, and TAW Services Holdings. He previously served on the board of directors of PDC Mountaineer.
