Rob Willings joined the Lime Rock Partners team as a Director in 2005. He originally worked from Lime Rock’s Aberdeen office and has been based in Dubai since 2009. Mr. Willings brought a dozen years of experience in operations and energy finance to the team. He began his career in 1993 at Schlumberger Wireline & Testing as a field engineer in the North Sea and as base manager in Patagonia, Argentina. In 1998, he joined PA-Consulting Group as a principal consultant, where he worked primarily on business unit strategy and joint venturing for the energy industry. He joined Simmons & Company’s Aberdeen office in 2001 where he was involved in numerous energy service transactions. He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge (M.A.).

Since joining the Lime Rock Partners team, Mr. Willings has led the investigation and execution of investment opportunities in the E&P, energy service, midstream, and oil service technology sectors internationally. He currently serves on the board of directors of Expert Petroleum, KRI, Omni Oil Technology Holdings, Tiway Oil, and TWMA. He previously served on the board of directors of V-Tech.
