Created in late 2005, Laricina is a private oil company concentrating on capturing opportunities in the oil sands areas of Western Canada. It is focused on creating value through developing a diverse portfolio of oil sands assets that leverage technology and market developments. Lime Rock Partners exited its investment in Laricina in December 2016.
