Compagnie Generale de Geophysique ("CGG") is an international seismic equipment manufacturer and data acquisition/processing company based in Paris, France. CGG is a public company listed on the Paris Stock Exchange with an ADR listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is the only fully integrated seismic equipment and service provider. CGG divides its operations between geophysical services and equipment manufacturing, with customers that include independent, major and national energy companies, as well as the major seismic contractors.
