Lime Rock Names Kris Agarwal General Counsel
1/5/2011WESTPORT, Conn., January 5, 2011 — Lime Rock, a private equity firm focused on the global energy sector, today announces the naming of Kris Agarwal as General Counsel of the firm. Mr. Agarwal joined Lime Rock as its Assistant General Counsel in 2008. Mr. Agarwal now has senior responsibility for the legal aspects of Lime Rock’s global fund management, portfolio company negotiation and structuring, and regulatory compliance efforts.

Before joining Lime Rock in 2008, Mr. Agarwal worked at Vinson & Elkins LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, and Flom LLP where he focused on corporate and transactional matters, including cross-border transactions and representation of private equity firms and public companies in connection with public and private acquisitions, divestitures, and investment transactions. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B.B.A, MBA) and Southern Methodist University (J.D.).
